The Reward Team is responsible for developing employee reward strategies and for the development, implementation, maintenance and review of all pay and grading structures. The key responsibilities of the role are to be responsible for the development and implementation of corporate strategy, policies and procedures relating to Reward and Organisation Management. The post holder will be responsible for implementing and reviewing pay and grading mechanisms including both National and Hay evaluation schemes to ensure fair and transparent application. The post holder will also manage and be responsible for the successful achievement of key priorities and general activities of the section including deployment of resources and the organisation and prioritisation of the section workload and operational management of the section. You must be a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development coupled with significant experience of working at a senior supervisory level within Human Resources. You must have experience of working in partnership with service directorates and trade unions along with the ability to work comfortably at senior levels managing a heavy and challenging workload.
