Shepperton Pre-school is a long established setting with an excellent reputation within the local community. In November 2008 we were awarded ‘ outstanding’ by Ofsted. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and highly motivated person for the role of Pre-School Manager from September 2009. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care, welfare and education of up to 60 children and have the ability to lead an established team of staff.
We would like to appoint:-
• A person qualified to at least NVQ3 or equivalent or preferably someone who is already on the degree pathway.
• Has a clear understanding of effective practice in the EYFS.
• Be skilled in planning and delivering the EYFS curriculum.
• Has the ability to lead and motivate staff.
• Be an outstanding role model to the children and staff.
• Be an effective communicator.
• Management experience is preferable.
The hours would be approx. 35 per week although this is negotiable, mostly term time but a degree of flexibility is required.
