Special Tots part of the Portage Service
Grade M: circa £21,008 pa pro rata
Fixed Term Contract until July 2011
14 hours per week
Here at Swindon Borough Council we currently have an opportunity to work within the Portage Service who are part of a multi agency team supporting disabled children and their families to live ordinary lives. We will look to you to provide education and care to all children attending Special Tots. Working directly within a close supportive friendly team you will help nurture and empower parents to achieve the best for their children.
Educated to NVQ3 in childcare and education or equivalent you will have good knowledge and experience of working with SEN and Early Years Foundation Stage. Along with excellent listening and communication skills you will also have an awareness and understanding of the safeguarding of children.
An enhanced CRB disclosure will be required.
