One year fixed term from 1 August 2012

The Planning Policy team offers a year’s placement giving practical experience in the planning system. You would be involved in a wide variety of work including:

  • Work on the Emerging Core Strategy and Site Allocations Development Plan Documents
  • Public consultation events and analysis
  • Developing the baseline evidence for the borough, developing targets and indicators for the Local Development Framework
  • Assisting with monitoring of existing district plan polices, including site surveys and analysis of data
  • Review of the Green Belt

Some experience of GIS would be useful.
