Leisure Services need to employ a pool of sessional workers to play a key role in supporting innovative approaches that instil a culture of achievement, drive and commitment that will be so essential to the future success of these dynamic services.

• Are you able to work under pressure, prioritise and manage multiple tasks, work to strict deadlines and be highly organised?
• Are you able to work flexibly on your own initiative and as part of a team in a very busy and dynamic environment?

Physical Activity Sessional Workers.

As a valued member of the Sports and Activity Team, the Physical Activity sessionals play an important role to deliver a co-ordinated physical activity programme in our parks, community centres and leisure facilities to include carrying out fitness assessments, assisting participants to set realistic activity goals, develop exercise and walks programmes to increase residents participation levels and improve their health.

Physical Activity sessionals are key to the success of our activity and walks programmes as you will be providing residents with their first taste of being active for health and assisting them in setting realistic goals. Sessionals will be required to work evenings and weekends and maybe required to work with and along side Sports Coaches to meet service requirements
