Kiln Court in Faversham and Ladesfield in Whitstable offers permanent, respite, Intermediate Care and dementia services to older people. We require relief Team Leaders to join our teams. You will be required to work on an as and when basis at both centres to cover absence for our existing senior staff team.
You will have substantial experience of working with older people which should include Dementia and Intermediate Care. You should have staff management skills to supervise and lead a team of carers on a day to day basis – with the skills and knowledge required to deliver a quality service to service users, their families and visitors to the centre. Good communication and report writing skills are essential – as you will be required to monitor, record and report on the health and well-being of service users – identified and contained within individual care/support plans. Key duties will include the Administration of medication and the compliance to all health and safety policies and procedures within the centre.
Your rota will consist of early, late shifts and will include sleeping in duties. Weekends and bank holidays will be included.
