Working Pattern Part Time, Temporary position Hours 25 hours per week during school term time (up to 37 per week during school holidays)
Salary £14,400 - £17,500 per annum (for 25 hours per week) CRB Check Enhanced
Location The section is based at The Rowans Children's Centre, Pondmoor Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, however, the postholder will be required to work at various sites throughout the Borough.

We are seeking to appoint a Peripatetic Play Inclusion Officer to support out of school play settings across Bracknell Forest. The successful applicant will work with providers to build their capacity to support children with a range of additional needs.

You will be working to develop new and improve existing practise around inclusion. Your work will have significant impact on the lives of children and young people in Bracknell Forest. Play inclusion initiatives within the scope of the job role relate to those for children and young people aged 4-18.

Qualified to level 3 of above in Playwork, Early Years and Childcare or equivalent, you will also have experience of working with children and young people with a range of additional needs. Enthusiastic and self- motivated, you will have excellent communication and leadership skills, plus a sound understanding of the playwork principles. This is an interesting, varied and challenging role that will provide the right candidate with a huge amount of job satisfaction.

Fixed Term, initially until the end of March 2011. Job share considered
