About the job

Hillingdon’s Music Service has entered a very exciting phase of development and would welcome applications from highly skilled musicians and experienced Music Teachers, who would like to join our team of highly motivated music professionals offering group, individual and ensemble music opportunities for Hillingdon’s children and young people.We are also recruiting for music teachers who would like to join our Widening Opportunities Team delivering whole class musical experiences to junior age children in partnership with our schools.

We will offer work on a Sessional basis at an hourly rate of £22.39 for qualified staff and £17.76 for unqualified. Advanced Practitioners who meet the requirements of the advanced practitioner criteria may attract £29.72 per hour.

About the person

Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate an ability to work well with people, whilst being able to methodically conduct, organise and deliver high quality learning activities.Teachers with QTS status who are currently on a main scale grade above 3, will be paid their current rate for whole class teaching in schools (i.e. WOPPS programmes).
