The Strategic Intelligence and Performance Team is a relatively new team at the centre of the organisation with a leading role in co-ordinating and supporting our improvement and performance agenda. We currently have several vacancies.
Located in the Performance and Equalities Division, the team supports the Chief Executive and corporate management board on performance, policy and service improvement matters, by providing leadership on performance management, including putting in place robust and efficient mechanisms for monitoring performance facilitate evidence-based policy development, strategic planning, resource allocation and service improvement across the council and partnerships by undertaking quantitative, qualitative and business process analysis on a wide range of demographic and service data.
You will support the Chief Executive and corporate management board on performance matters, and work closely with service departments to tackle performance issues, support our service planning process, and provide specialist advice to front-line services.
This is a high profile roles within Islington. You will need experience of major change in a large organisation, a sound understanding of performance management, and the ability to manage projects effectively.
