Can you make statistics interesting and understandable?
• Do you care about helping children and young people achieve their full potential?
• Do you like a challenge?
• Are you highly motivated?
• Do you have experience of accessing and interpreting
statistical information?
• Can you make statistical information accessible to people at all levels of understanding?

If you can confidently answer “yes” to all these questions then come and manage data analysis to support our Children’s Services. You will be involved in providing information to aid target setting, investigating methods of measuring pupils’ progress and researching and analysing benchmarking data.

You must be able to carry out complex calculations, be highly numerate with a sound understanding of statistical analysis and have good IT skills. However, we also want someone who can make the data and information accessible to a range of people including officers and teaching staff and governors in schools. Therefore, the ability to communicate, present and explain data at different levels is essential. Teaching experience in the secondary phase is desirable but not essential.
