Do you want a role looking at the bigger picture?
Do you want to help transform Havering?

We have clear plans for the future. So if you’re looking for more responsibilities and bigger challenges, you’ll find both here. We’re putting into place fast, planned and effective changes that will ensure our services meet residents’ needs. That means we need people who can create strategies, turn them into reality and understand the implications of such changes on the organisation.

As a People Strategy Manager/ Business Partner, you’ll have the chance to work closely with one of our Group Directors and their management team, providing solutions that support strategic goals. You will also offer a strategic HR input that will lead to improved organisational and directorate performance. It will be down to you to check that HR and business strategies are aligned, making sure that corporate policies are applied consistently across the Directorate.

We’re looking for an experienced professional, with broad and deep HR knowledge, business sense and strategic acumen. If you’ve just ticked all the boxes, you could use your expertise to coach senior managers and help develop business plans, here at our forward-thinking Council. MCIPD-qualified, you’ll have the confidence to work independently and the credibility to involve, influence and inspire partners and teams alike.

Recent recruits to our team of Business Partners have already added value with this new business model, ensuring that senior management have the tools to deliver against a three-year transformation project. Now it’s your turn.
