We are looking for a Youth Worker to work with the Gypsy/Traveller community in Kent.
The post holder will be working with sited, housed and mobile Gypsy/Travellers primarily in a detached setting. You should have knowledge of Gypsy/Traveller culture and way of life. Your role will be to assist the Youth Worker in charge of the project with organisation and delivery of the Youth Service Curriculum for the benefit of young Gypsy/Travellers primarily in the 13-19-age range. Work with the extended families is an essential part of the project.
Your ability to understand and communicate effectively with young people will be essential.
