Our Youth Service is setting the professional pace with a constant stream of imaginative ideas and fresh initiatives. We now need self-motivated people with a genuine interest in supporting young people to join us on a part-time basis.
Successful applicants will be based at Sk8side and assist the Youth Worker in charge of the project with the organisation and delivery of the Youth Service curriculum for the benefit of a diverse group of young people in the 13 – 19 age range.
Your ability to understand and communicate effectively with young people alongside knowledge of issues affecting young people today is essential.
The ability to work flexible hours is essential, as the post include afternoon, after school, evening and some weekend working.
Kent Youth Service is committed to safeguarding young people, and this post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Criminal Records Bureau.
