Contract – Permanent, full time

Location: Town Hall Extension, Argyle Street, WC1H 8NP
Camden Council currently has a new opportunity for a Park Ranger to join their Parks and Open Spaces team.
This is a shift work role including weekend working.
Role purpose:
Providing a multi functional support service to consist of engagement, troubleshooting, reporting, & dealing with crime & anti social behaviour.
Supporting the delivery of services including allotments, concessions, volunteering, consultation, tennis and other income collection. Upkeep and enforcement of the Park Bylaws & to be the contact for emergencies.
About you:
You will currently be working in a role with experience of dealing with difficult and complex anti-social behaviour.
Dilligent in your approach to addressing issues and ensuring positive results.
Confident but sensitive to the needs of others, ready to work within a high energy team that goes the extra mile.
You will be highly flexible in undertaking shift workRequirements
- Experience of working within parks and open spaces in an urban environment
- Current clean driving licence
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence and Resilience
- Adapting and contributing to constant change and development
- Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders from street active individuals to contractors and colleagues.
- Partnership and team working.
- Working with grounds maintenance contractors
