Ideally, you will have some experience of working with older people and will be required to carry out a variety of tasks including general domestic tasks within Service User’s own flats/bungalows, general cleaning of communal areas, assisting the Cook in the kitchen, serving meals and laundry duties. You would be expected to attend a full Induction (2 weeks) around the policies and procedures of working within Warrington Borough Council and essential training needed to carry out duties effectively. You will assist in the general well being of our service users and help to promote their independence at all times, whilst working in the Centre.
A friendly disposition, together with good communication skills and a team working approach to your work is essential to this post.
