Community Learning and Information Service, Out of Hours Learning Network is seeking to appoint an Out of Hours Learning Assistant to support the learning needs of young people out of school hours and/or on Saturday mornings. Sessions normally commence at 3-30pm during the week but some variations do exist particularly during school holidays.
Experience of working with young people is essential, as good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, ICT skills are advantageous. An understanding of National Curriculum is also desirable.
You will be expected to organise, encourage participation, promote and deliver out of hours learning sessions with young people, families, schools and related agencies.
Please note for this post you will be required to undergo an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check to work with both children and vulnerable adults.
