The 2012 Olympics and Paralympics will transform London forever and Redbridge is perfectly placed to be at the heart of the excitement – just five minutes away from the Olympic Park.

You will maximise our involvement and ensure we derive enormous benefit from the Games, as you forge productive and profitable partnerships and bring local people’s expectations to life. This will give you an extremely high profile, as you interface across the Council and the local community, engage key Olympics Delivery organisations and translate the Olympics and Paralympics strategy into maximising opportunities for children and young people, business, regeneration, sport, facilities, transport, tourism and employment.

Quite simply, we will look to you to bring substantial inward investment to the borough, so we need an adaptable and confident leader with a proven record of achievement. Experience in a multi-agency environment will be essential, and you will need exceptional all round business awareness and project leadership skills.
