Fixed term two year contract
The Olympic Games are coming to Waltham Cross in Hertfordshire and the three local authorities are working together to ensure that the area obtains the maximum benefits in terms of both short term physical improvements and longer term economic regeneration.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to play a lead role in this process and ensure that local residents and businesses benefit from hosting the Games.
You should be educated to degree level or equivalent and be able to demonstrate a proven ability to deliver projects to agreed timescales. To achieve this you must have good project management and communication skills, proven experience of the planning and development process and some experience of inter agency working.
The post will be hosted by Broxbourne Borough Council and you will be based at the Borough Offices, Churchgate, Cheshunt, Herts EN8 9XB.
