About the job

As an Occupational Therapist / Care Manager you will use your diverse OT knowledge to enable clients to live as independently as possible within the limitations of their disability using a variety of approaches. This post will work closely with Housing services, assessing and reviewing service user’s needs to provide streamlined services that facilitate the provision of major adaptations to a successful conclusion.

About the person

You will be an experienced Occupational Therapist with the necessary professional HPC registration and will crucially have experience of working with housing, assessing for and recommending major adaptations.

Furthermore your experience will enable you confidently carry out the necessary assessments and referrals, your expertise to identify priority areas for care, and your widespread knowledge to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Housing legislation and guidance.

Additional information

These positions are fixed term until March 2015, then they will be subject to review.

There is one full-time vacancy and one part-time vacancy 18 hours per week.
