Role Purpose
Provision of specialist OT services to people with physical disabilities. Ensuring that people with physical disabilities are able to live as independently as possible in their own homes by assessing their needs and proposing solutions. Development of individualised responses to needs in the context of local policies and resources.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a case load of disabled users requiring specialist OT input. Organise, plan, and deliver specialist OT services in collaboration with other professionals as required. Participate in the development of staff.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with post qualifying experience to join the diverse, exciting, dynamic, and high quality services being provided to local disabled residents in this borough. Experience of supervising students and OT assistants is required. A degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and HPC registration.
