Job Details
The Occupational Therapy Service is part of the AT Home Centre, which also accommodates our fully integrated, in-house equipment and minor adaptations service, as well as a fully equipped assessment suite, and on-site conference facilities. The service is highly regarded within Enfield and has been a major player in several proactive initiatives including Re-ablement with Home Carers, Employment and Leisure as well as the recent achievement of Beacon Status for Independent Living.
This is an exciting time to join our friendly and forward thinking service and work with colleagues across Enfield to take forward the personalisation of social care services.
Occupational Therapists in Community Role and Re-ablement
We are looking for flexible and committed Occupational Therapists to join our dynamic service. You will work with people to carry out assessments and develop care plans that enable them to regain or retain their independence in daily living activities as well as helping them access support to improve other areas of their lives eg employment, leisure. There is also an opportunity to join a developing Re-ablement Team, working closely with care workers and service-users as part of a re-ablement service which helps individuals to reach their maximum potential. You will have a good knowledge of community care and an ability to develop excellent working relationships with service users, carers and colleagues across services. You will have opportunities to develop your areas of professional interest to enhance the services we provide.
