Nursery Assistant Ref: 1035 Grade J: £6.30 per hour
15 hours per week, Term Time Only (11.30am-2.30pm Mon-Fri)
Here at Swindon Borough Council we currently have exciting opportunities to join us at the Children’s Nursery. The nursery, rated good by Ofsted, provides a warm and friendly atmosphere designed to promote happy, confident fulfilled children.
We will look to you to care for a specific group of children, ensuring their physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs are met. We will look to you to provide a high standard of childcare and education, helping to maintain a stimulating and friendly environment for the children under the guidance of senior staff.
Ideally qualified to NVQ2 Early Years or equivalent, you will have experience of childcare and an ability to work as part of a team. An understanding of safeguarding children and experience within a day care setting would be advantageous but not essential.
An enhanced CRB disclosure will be required.
