Islington Council has a national reputation for work on climate change and sustainability. We are developing new areas of focus to ensure that we remain at the cutting edge of this increasingly important agenda. We are looking for creative, committed individuals to join our expanding, award-winning team. We will consider secondments.
The role will require you to lead the Nature Conservation Team. This team coordinates the management of three local nature reserves, leads reserve infrastructure improvement works and coordinates a range of outreach work to engage the local community in nature conservation. Management experience is required. The post works closely with Islington’s Biodiversity Officer to implement the Biodiversity Action Plan.
