Curriculum Music Teachers/Music Tutors
Trafford Music Service is looking for a number of excellent staff for its dynamic and growing team. All posts will involve travelling to schools throughout the Trafford area.
Curriculum Music Teacher Primary 0.4 fte REF PPD 146
This post will involve teaching classes as part of the Wider Opportunities Programme. There will also be scope to develop and work with vocal groups.
Curriculum Music Teacher Secondary 0.3 fte REF PPD 147
Working in secondary schools, supporting the transition of pupils from KS2. The development and implementation of Trafford’s Vocal Strategy will also be a significant part of this post, including working with choirs.
Tutor of Strings 0.4 fte – no set days REF PPD 148
Teacher of Brass 0.6 fte – no set days REF PPD 149
The above two posts will involve teaching whole classes, as part of the Wider Opportunities Programme, and smaller groups following the initial project. There will also be scope to develop and work with instrumental ensembles.
Tutor of Flute/Woodwind REF PPD 150
Urmston Music Centre 4.30 – 6.30 Fridays
Tutor of Recorder REF PPD 151
Partington Music Centre 1.5 hpw 3.30 – 5.00 Thursdays
Tutor of Recorder and/or Flute REF PPD 152
Stretford Music Centre 3 hpw 9.15 – 12.15 Saturdays
The above three posts will involve teaching groups of pupils within a thriving Music Centre.
