Silverdale is a large, welcoming school in the historic town of Hastings and St Leonards. We have 630 wonderful children and a staff team of 109 and fabulous facilities.

We are seeking two mid-day supervisory assistants to support our pupils during lunchtimes. Duties include helping children in the Dining Hall, supervising and encouraging play while in the playground to ensure they gain the most from their break time.

A willingness to act as a team member, to be proactive in supervising and helping pupils, and a calm approach are desirable criteria for candidates.

Application information

Hours of work: 5 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 12:15pm – 13:15pm)

Working pattern: Part-time & Term-time only.

(As the position is part-time & term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

Fixed term contract until 31/03/2013, pending budget review.
