The Dartford, Gravesend and Swanley Community Mental Health Service has a number of Career Grade Mental Health Social Worker vacancies, at present based in the CMHT at Arndale House in Dartford and in the CMHT in Swanley High Street. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of evolving secondary mental health services during a period of change and reconfiguration, which will see an Access and a Recovery Team offering a service for the DGS area.
You will need to hold a professional social work qualification, be registered with the General Social Care Council and have proven experience of being a qualified practitioner in a mental health setting or community team. You will need to be self motivated, committed and able to embrace new and creative ways of working with people with mental health issues.
You will either be an Approved Mental Health Professional or willing to undertake this further professional training. You will receive regular supervision, and be able to access excellent training and development opportunities as an ongoing part of your career development.
