NewHeartlands is one of nine housing market renewal pathfinder areas set up by the government to tackle housing market failure and create sustainable communities.

Based on Merseyside and embracing three local authorities – Liverpool, Sefton and Wirral – together with other stakeholders NewHeartlands we have developed strategic plans to restructure the local housing market and improve Merseyside’s economic and competitive position within the UK.

Since its creation in 2003 NewHeartlands has established an excellent reputation for performance and innovation across a range of activities. Now, as the delivery phase of Housing Market Renewal gains momentum, we want to strengthen the core NewHeartlands team.

Working within NewHeartlands and accountable to the Communications and Consultation Manager you will be seconded to one of our local delivery teams. Your main areas of responsibility will be managing marketing activity including communications planning and delivery, market and product/service research and the management of relationships with stakeholders.
Liverpool City Council is the employing authority.
Fixed term until 31/03/2011
