This is an exciting opportunity for a new senior management role. The right person will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of leading and implementing a children’s commissioning team and developing the commissioning function across Children Young People and Learning Services (CYPLS).
This post requires proven leadership skills, experience of managing change, as well as substantial commissioning and management experience acquired in a statutory sector. You will also have experience of partnership working at a senior level. You must also have excellent communication skills and experience of working with a range of partners at a senior level. You need a broad knowledge of the national agenda in relation to commissioning and a sound knowledge of children’s services including social care. This post is subject to enhanced checks carried out by the Criminal Records Bureau.
