This is history in the making. Be part of it.

The cultural scene in Southampton is really changing. This is an opportunity to become involved in two new major projects which are due to open in the city as visitor attractions in 2011 and 2012 respectively. These are the Tudor House Museum and the Sea City Museum. You will be assisting with the client role of overseeing these developments, you will work closely with the consultant project managers, internal arts and heritage team and the architects and museum designers to help ensure they are both delivered on-schedule and within budget. It’s an exciting opportunity to make your own mark on the changing face of our city.

Proven client focused project management skills within a cultural development setting is a must. You’ll also be a natural when it comes to building effective working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, excellent presentation skills and an understanding of the management of project budgets. This will be matched with a degree level education and a strong knowledge of funding applications and processes.
