Maintenance Officer
Band E – salary £22,958 – £26,276 per annum
We are looking for a motivated person to work within our team of Maintenance Officers providing the ‘client function’ for our Housing Repairs and Investment Team.
To be successful in this role you must have previous experience of working in a housing repairs and housing maintenance environment along with experience of pre and post inspections work, specifying, pricing and signing off works. Previous experience of the tendering and letting of contracts would also be of benefit.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively with a variety of people and be able to undertake property inspections in sometimes difficult situations.
You must have excellent customer service skills, effective verbal and written communication skills and be able to act as an ambassador for the authority when visiting tenant’s homes and meeting with contractors.
You must hold a current full driving licence.
