Role Description:
You will support the Surrey County Council Local Committee and its members so that decision-making and business management processes operate efficiently, effectively and within the law, whilst working closely with local County Councillors and partners to improve services for residents.

You will assist the Area Director to facilitate and support the planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of local services in a way that is responsive to identified local needs and preferences. You will do this by using data to profile the area; researching into problems and policy issues, contributing to work on community planning and development, and undertaking project work in key policy areas such as Safer and Stronger Communities, Health and Well Being.

To do this, you’ll need to have good planning, communication, networking and facilitation skills, the ability to analyse data and produce reports, excellent organisation skills, and strong ICT skills.
