We are looking for enthusiastic and committed people to join the Council’s Waste Management team, helping to keep the district clean. You will be able to cope with the physical, and at times pressurised nature of the job, with the ability to work on your own initiative and within a team, You will take pride in your work, enjoy working early mornings and be able to work on a flexible basis.
Loader/Driver £15,725 – £16,830 p.a.
Bideford
You will work mainly as a loader collecting Refuse or Recycling throughout the Torridge area, and when required cover the Cleansing service. You and your team will work 37 hours per week on a task and finish basis, which will include occasional Saturday work. You will also be required to drive on a relief basis covering Refuse, Recycling and Cleansing services. A HGV driving licence is essential.
