We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and hardworking solicitor to join a busy general litigation team. This post will primarily require you to conduct criminal proceedings and act as an advocate in the Magistrates’ Court; however, there will be ample opportunity to become involved in all aspects of local government litigation.
You will also be able to provide advice and assistance to the Council and its officers on a wide range of matters, including environmental health, trading standards and benefit fraud matters.
Experience in areas of local government law is not essential but would be an advantage.
