We have recently been awarded BIG funding for 3 years to develop our LINX programme and have the following vacancy:-

LINX County Co-ordinator, Gloucestershire

LINX is an innovative programme that has been developed within the Hampton Trust’s highly regarded Domestic Abuse Services. It is aimed at supporting children and young people who are exhibiting violent behaviour through an interactive, structured and flexible programme.
LINX enables young people to make links between their personal experiences and their own violent and abusive behaviour and is designed to help build empathy.
We are offering a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic, self motivated individual to work with young people aged 12 – 19 across Gloucestershire and to take the lead in the development and delivery of LINX across the county. This will include the training of practitioners to deliver the programme.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate:-
• the ability to work across boundaries and influence partners
• an understanding of domestic violence and its impact on children and young people
• A clear understanding and ability to deliver group work to vulnerable and disengaged young people
• The ability to deliver multi-agency training
