Tower Hamlets Legal Services is part of an excellent Council, always striving to deliver high quality services that support the aims and ambitions of our residents. We have a diverse community to serve with the desire to make Tower Hamlets the place that people want to live, work in and visit.

Following a recent reorganisation to ensure that our service reflects the corporate structure of the Council we have created a number of new posts to support the drive for efficiency and best practice as well as increase support in developing areas of our business.

These posts are situated in our Social Care team which is responsible for delivering legal case work and advice on children’s and adults’ social services matters.

You will have conduct of a portfolio of care cases as well as providing advice and guidance to clients on other areas of business covered by the team. You must have advocacy skills appropriate to the level of the role and be able to work effectively as part of a busy team.

Interviews will be held on 23 April 2010. You will be required to do an advocacy based exercise as part of the interview.
