Fixed Term for 12 Months.
Please be aware these vacancies are with the Wyre contract (Thornton Depot) and with the Fylde contract (St Annes Depot). Please clearly state on your application form which position you would like to apply for or if you have no preference.
To provide and undertake labouring and loading duties for any of the Streetscene Services Contracts, including Refuse & Recycling Collection, Amenity Cleansing, Beach Cleansing, Public Convenience Cleaning and any other duties as requested by either a Line Manager or an Area Supervisor.
To carry out general labouring tasks or loading duties on refuse, recycling or Amenity Cleansing operations as instructed that can include loading refuse / recycling trucks, litter picking, and cleaning facilities.
To act in a professional and courteous manner towards customers.
To comply with all necessary health and safety regulations and all operational procedures and guidelines.
To undertake any other duties as may be commensurate with the level of the post as required by either an Area Supervisor or Line Manager.
To assist in the distribution and circulation of promotional literature i.e. calendars & information to public as required.
