The Meals on Wheels service delivers a choice of tasty and nutritious meals to vulnerable residents of the Borough who are unable to cater for themselves.
We are currently looking for another Kitchen Coordinator to join our committed and friendly Meals on Wheels team at the Longmead Centre to work one week on and one week off. The role involves the cooking of frozen meals, preparation of sandwiches, stock management and the maintenance of kitchen hygiene and health and safety standards.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of our older clients. You will also need good literacy and numeracy skills. This role requires regular lifting.
The successful candidate will be required to attend the relevant training for this post.
