Would you like the opportunity to work in Kent County Council whilst gaining qualifications and earning money as a Kent Success Apprentice?

Vacancies on the Kent Success programme are available throughout the County in a range of careers departments and you can start at any time in the year.

You will be working whilst training in the workplace, with periodic off the job training at a Training Centre nearest to your home.

Apprenticeships are available in Business & Administration, Hospitality & Catering, Childcare, Health & Social Care, Customer Service, Warehousing and Retail.

You will receive a salary of £105 per week whilst completing your qualification and full support from your tutor, KEY Training Services and a workplace mentor throughout the programme.

Kent Success Apprenticeships are primarily available to young people with GCSE Grades A to C in English and Maths. However, don’t be put off if you do not have these qualifications now, because you can join KEY Training Service’s Open Door Programme as a step towards Kent Success. The Open Door Programme caters for all abilities and will provide you with the opportunity to gain Key Skills Qualifications, employability skills and real work experience for up to 12 weeks, after which you will be able to apply for a Kent Success Apprenticeship..

Apprenticeships take between 9 and 15 months to complete, during which time you will be able to apply for permanent roles within the County Council.

PLEASE NOTE THAT A PLACE ON KENT SUCCESS IS DEPENDANT ON VACANCIES BEING AVAILABLE IN YOUR AREA, ASSESSMENT AND INTERVIEW.

KEY’S OPEN DOOR PROGRAMME IS OPEN TO ALL young people aged 16 to 24, THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
