Working in a small IT project management team you will undertake work on a variety of technical, systems implementation and data integration projects across the council. The role will provide you with the opportunity to develop and enhance your experience, knowledge and skills in a project management environment.
Some experience of working on IT projects is essential as is a basic knowledge of project management, planning, business, systems and risk analysis and change management. You will be working closely with a project manager to develop your skills and experience in IT.
You will have good organisational skills, and be able to communicate effectively between IT staff, users and suppliers. You can work both individually and in a team to meet challenging targets and deal with problems as they arise.
