The IT service has a number of project managers who undertake a key role in the management and support of projects to introduce new or replace existing IT systems (both hardware and software applications).
You will possess both a good knowledge and practical experience with project management including the ability to:
- prepare and manage project plans,
- identify critical paths,
- allocate tasks and manage resources and
- highlight both progress and problems identifying recommended solutions.
An robust understanding of project governance, risk management and change management will be essential; and you will be required to work with IT technical staff, with business managers, users and suppliers demonstrating effective communication skills.
