Barnet is a rapidly expanding North London Borough with a very diverse population.
An independent chair is required for Barnet Adoption and Permanency Panel.
You will have considerable professional experience of adoption and fostering and the ability to chair complex meetings. It is essential that you have a good understanding of the relevant legislation and the regulatory framework.
You will also have knowledge of current practice issues, a strong commitment to child centred planning and practice promoting equalities and diversity.
All Panel meetings take place every second Monday of the month. You must have the flexibility to occasionally chair extra Panels as required and to participate in training.
