Improvement Officer

Position: Perm, Part time – 2 days per week

Monday/Tuesday but variations on these days can be considered.

Location: 33-35 Jamestown Road, Camden, NW1 7DB

Salary: PO4 – £37,851 – £40,506

The London Borough of Camden’s Repairs and Improvements division currently has a part time vacancy for an Improvement Officer to join them on a permanent basis.

The purpose of the role is to analyse the performance of contractors who deliver reactive repairs and planned works to Camden’s properties and assets, identify deficiencies in service delivery and develop and implement improvement plans.

About You:

Adaptable and able to work in a changing environment whilst delivering a high quality service.

Confident in working with residents, contractors and a wide range of stakeholders.

A creative thinker, able to identify innovative ways of improving the service and work on your own initiative.

Able to constructively tackle performance issues with contractors and delivery teams

Role Requirements

  • Liaison and consultation with a range of stakeholders
  • Identifying performance issues, implementing an improvement plan and monitoring its effectiveness.
  • Able to analyse high volumes of performance data, spot trends and issues.
  • Able to present complex analysis in clear manner to a wide range of audiences.
  • Experience of performance measurement and management techniques and their development.
  • A working knowledge of Housing IT systems (e.g. Northgate) and Business Objects is desirable but not essential
