We are looking for an experienced ICT professional who can lead our highly skilled Technology Services team and be responsible for the Council’s standardised ICT Infrastructure. In conjunction with our ‘E’ Change partner, you and your team will implement and support innovative business focussed solutions and services enabled by modern technologies such as Virtualisation, SAN & Citrix over a converged communications platform.
Our ‘E’ strategy and ‘Towards Top Performance programme’ is increasing the pace of change, and there are major projects to deliver and partnerships to build. With responsibility for our technical architecture and technology strategy you will have a fantastic opportunity to influence our Transformational Government approach and deliver real value for money through the use of technology and an optimised infrastructure.
The department is establishing a Service Management culture underpinned by the ITIL framework so a blend of excellent technical, performance management and people skills along with a positive, can-do attitude are essential. If you are a good team player with an engaging style of leadership with a track record of innovation and delivering business improvement through technology then you are the type of person we are looking for.
