West Oxfordshire District Councils are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced professional to join their innovative ICT team to enable them to move their shared service with Cotswold District Council (CDC) forward.

You will play a key role in the day to day management, operation and administration of a range of systems and infrastructure, which include Active Directory Services (2008 R2), Windows 2003/2008/2008 R2 Servers running on a VMware infrastructure.

You should have experience of being part of a busy and dynamic IT team supporting a range of Microsoft Back Office systems including Exchange 2010. You will need to be flexible and able to work with minimal supervision using your initiative when required.

A commitment to customer care and quality service provision is essential as these are support roles and you will be expected to liaise with customers at all levels to resolve operational problems and support issues. You must also be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, along with good organisational skills in order to prioritise and manage your workload.

As our ICT service is shared with Cotswold District Council, you may be required to travel to Cirencester from time to time for which a casual car allowance will be paid.
