The main purposes of this role are to:
- ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer network. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimising all network hardware, software and communication links;
- to analyse and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems.
Duties include responsibility for the network administration, to respond, diagnose and repair Service Desk issues up to level 3 and to manage upgrades, installs and troubleshooting of network hardware devices and software.
The ideal candidate will possess a Relevant technical qualification in e.g. Software Engineering or Network Infrastructure and experience in support and maintenance of IT infrastructure, have experience in supprt and maintenance of IT infrastructures and had a methodical approach to gether with logical problem solving thought process. A degree in a computer related subject would be an advantage.
