ICT Development Training Officer (Fixed Term) Resources and Business Support Service This post is on a fixed contract until 31st March 2011 An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Resources and Business Support Service for a full time ICT Development Training Officer to provide training and support on all ICT developments within the Health and Adults Social Care (H&ASC) department at various locations within the Borough. Centred around a busy ICT Work Programme, the postholder will be required to feed into the department’s ICT Training and Support programme to ensure that adequate training and support is provided to staff at all levels, including key our partners e.g. The Health Authority, in all aspects of ICT development for software and hardware. Line management will be from within the H&ASC Modern Working Team and the postholder will be required to work closely with the managers and staff across the department to ensure that the training and support provided fully meets the business requirements of all services. The most important qualities, skills and experience required will include: Self motivation A commitment to a delivery focused approach to all tasks Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) The ability to deliver training in a variety of settings to staff at all levels The ability to ensure that a variety of tasks are completed to agreed timescales and standards · Experience of understanding the use of ICT to meet the needs of organisational management and support working practice.
