This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking and innovative HR Team in delivering a professional and comprehensive operational HR service to Salford schools. This is a fantastic time to join the team as we have recently moved to a new service delivery model, underpinned by new ways of working including agile working and newly redesigned and refurbished working space. The Consultant role will involve working closely with schools and colleagues across the City Council, providing high quality, specialist advice and support in line with best practice HR to deliver successful outcomes. You will be able to manage difficult HR issues with confidence, tenacity and integrity and ensure excellent service delivery.You will have the ability to think creatively when dealing with complex workforce issues and although previous experience of working with schools is an advantage, it is not essential. You will have highly developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
