Housing Enabling Officer
A progressive Borough Council,you’ll find us flexible and open to new ideas. Reporting to the Research and Development Manager you will work tomaximise the provision of affordable housing in the borough to meet local needs. You will also liaise with housing providersto ensure schemes are delivered within set budgets and timescales, togetherwith evaluating performance statistics to measure their compliance with our policies.
An appropriate level of housingor related experience is essential, you must be a self-starter, capable ofworking independently. You must also have excellent communication skills bothoral and written, together with good organisational and leadership skills, inorder to effectively negotiate and coordinate activities through otheragencies. First class numeracy skillsare also important in order to handle complex numerical data.
