The Medway Healthy Schools team has an important role to play in promoting physical and emotional health for children and families in Medway. We are now looking for an enthusiastic and creative person to join our team and help us drive our work forward.
You will be involved in all aspects of the National Healthy Schools Standard, which include issues such as healthy eating and Sex and Relationships Education. This post will have a special responsibility for leading on our work to deal with bullying and will also be expected to work closely with our new Academies in order to help them achieve Healthy Schools status.
You will need to be educated to degree standard, or be able to show us that you have a real understanding of the issues surrounding young people and their well-being. You will also need to be flexible, creative and work with minimal supervision. A good knowledge of Medway and its schools would be an advantage but above all you must have a genuine belief that every child in Medway deserves the very best start in life.
