The London Borough of Redbridge has a workforce of about 8,500 providing a diverse range of services for the community. We already have a good safety record and we want you to help us improve it.
Supporting this workforce we have a small Occupational Health and Safety team and we are looking for an enthusiastic and competent Health and Safety Advisor to help us deliver training courses, conduct audits and investigate accidents. You will have effective communication skills, as you will be expected to provide pragmatic advice to all our clients, writing reports as necessary. Experience of working in local Government would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will have a NEBOSH diploma and be CMIOSH accredited or equivalent, have excellent IT skills and be a team player
